His Arrests from a Detroit Club and Other Cases
In September 2023, 24Lik was arrested when he attempted to enter Truth Nightclub in Detroit’s east side with a Glock-switch-equipped pistol and an extended magazine.
Police, recognizing 24Lik as an alleged member of the Cashgang gang, arrested him, and he reportedly resisted while heavily intoxicated. He also tried running away after he was handcuffed.
“In addition to resisting arrest, Taylor, while still handcuff(ed), managed to get out of a police vehicle and tried to escape, Officers were able to catch him and he continued to resist until finally being secured and arrested.”
An FBI agent wrote in the court filling.
Notably, a video for the song “Over Doin It,” of Taylor holding the same pistol and Glock switch, making concerning remarks, had surfaced days before his arrest on August 30.
Taylor faces a federal charge for being a felon in possession of a firearm, which could lead to a 15-year prison sentence if he is convicted.
He was also convicted in 2019 in Shiawassee County for possession of counterfeit notes which legally bars him from possessing firearms.
He was also involved in the attacking and assaulting of 13-year-old twin boys outside a Westland cinema in April 2018. He was himself a minor at that time.
