As a young kid, Conti was all set to have a career as a pianist, but things changed when he got enrolled in Royal Scottish as a teenager.
In the Royal Scottish, he auditioned for the department of drama. During the audition, he fell in love with acting and wanted to make a career in acting.
He then joined the Dundee Repertory at the early age of eighteen to start acting.
