Domeier has been married to his beautiful wife Amy Domeier for more than two and a half decades. Amy is his longtime sweetheart and the love of his life.

Domeier dated Amy since his days as a struggling actor. They parted ways somewhere in their relationship but later reconnected with each other. 

The couple had their ups and downs, but they overcame every obstacle and married on 27 September 1997.

The couple has been enjoying a blissful married life and has two sons. Their sons, Josh and Nick, are all grown up now.

He went to a catholic school for his schooling as he came from a religious family. Once high school was over, he enrolled in St. Cloud State College, where he studied theater.

Career

Once his acting courses were over and, he had enough experience, he moved to Hollywood to make a name in the acting field.

Initially, he did get roles here and there in movies like Dream On, Evil Dead II, etc. He also got to do many commercials. He appeared in commercials for Good year, Isuzu, etc.

However, he was not getting his breakthrough in his acting career. He even worked as a bartender to make ends meet. 

He was at the lowest in both his professional and personal life. It made Domeier realize that he needed to get his act together and get a stable career. He then decided to try something bold. He started calling every possible place where he could get a job.

He made a fake identity as Ron Rosenberg. He used to call people pretending to be Ron and tell them that they should hire him as he is a great actor.

Once surfing through the channel, Domeier stumbled upon QVc and came to know about the job opportunity. At first, he sent his audition tape to them and later called them by pretending to be Ron.

Luck was on his side, as he heard back from the channel, which offered him a six-month job as a trainee. He joined QVC in 1994 and even had a backup to return to Los Angeles if things didn’t work out.

However, the channel loved the energy Domeier brought to the set so, they offered him a permanent job as a host.
