His mother was frequently entangled in legal troubles, leading to her intermittent presence in his life. Details about his father are elusive, leaving his grandmother as the primary pillar of support in his formative years.

Hailing from the east side of Germantown, HopOutBlick couldn’t evade the ongoing feud between the east side (PnB) and the west side (WSM), a conflict that permeated his surroundings and became an inescapable reality for him.

As violence escalated and prominent members of PNB fell victim to the ongoing conflict, emerging figures like Doe Boy and HopoutBlick stepped up to carry the torch. The gang later adopted the name “The Torchers” and inherited the beef with WSM.

As he revealed in an interview, inspired by local rappers like PnB Steph, PnB Glizzy, and PnB Rock, PnB Meen, HopOutBlick started rapping at an early age. He officially made his mark in 2021 with the release of his debut track, “Big Torchers.”

After releasing a few more tracks, he teamed up with fellow artists like YBCdul, Fsdabender, & Mere Pablo. Their collaborative efforts such as “So Many Names“, “Guttery“, and “Talk Shit” has garnered millions of views on Youtube.

HopOutBlick’s Opps went on to spread rumors about his death. After the shootout incident in Palmetto Street which resulted in three deaths, he was on the run. Six different rival gangs went on to claim his death but eventually, he put an end to the rumors by going live with a fellow friend on Instagram.


Murder Charges & Arrest

From the outset of his career, HopOutBlick found himself embroiled in a feud with his rival gang, WSM, and other local factions. His musical narrative largely revolves around the ongoing conflict with his adversaries. Initially, his lyrics delved into the gritty details of street life, recounting the violent fates met by their rivals.

The tone took a darker turn when HopOutBlick, alongside his close associate and fellow “The Torchers” member, Doe Boy, orchestrated a robbery on April 28, 2023, that took an unforeseen and tragic twist. The ill-fated plan unfolded during a meeting for a gun transaction, where HopOutBlick and his companions intended to stage a robbery.

However, the situation escalated dramatically when the prospective buyers drew their weapons, leading to a chaotic exchange of gunfire that resulted in three fatalities, including a 14-year-old teenager.

Rather than laying low after the incident, HopOutBlick boldly channeled his experiences into a song titled “Took a Risk,” openly confronting and reflecting on the shooting episode.
