Coca VangoPersonal Life and Family

The talented rapper was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia.

He was the eldest child of his parents and had two younger sisters.

Growing up, both of his parents worked in the education sector.

While his mother was a teacher, his father was a principal.

However, his father died when he was a kid, and his mother raised him and his two sisters.

Despite having parents in the education sector, Vango was not much interested in studying.

Instead of studying in school, he used to hang out with his friends who were in gangs.

He liked being in a gang because he was impressed by the rappers.

Though he hung out in the gang to listen to rap, he lost track and started getting involved in some shady stuff.

His mother used to cry as he was destroying his life.

If hanging out with gangs was not enough, the rapper also used to sell BB guns at school.

Once, someone snitched on him and got him expelled when he was only fourteen.

After that, he wanted to go to an alternate school, but that was only possible if he got pulled out, and for this, he had to be fifteen.

He later got pulled out of school and then left school.

Though he left school at first, he disconnected himself from the streets afterward and never looked back.

Coca Vango Wife and Baby Mama

The years year-old rapper is happily engaged to fellow rapper Lightskin Keisha.

Keisha is best known for her mixtape, That’s Just the Bottom Line, and for being the supporting cast of the show Love & Hip Hop since 2012.

The two were born and raised in the same neighborhood of Decatur and were neighbors.

They had many mutual friends and used to meet each other often, but initially, they did not like each other.

However, with time, they started clearing the air between them and became good friends.

After one year of being good friends, they became close friends as both had contracts with the same music label and would be together during many interviews and shows.

They remained good friends for almost six years before starting to date each other in 2018.

The couple dated for four more years before Vango finally popped the question this January.

Keisha instantly said yes, and the couple got engaged.

On September 4, 2023, Light Skin Keisha surprised her fans with a post on Instagram celebrating her birthday and announcing that she was expecting her first child with Coca Vango. Coca Vango also shared that post a few hours later.

Relationship with his Ex-Girlfriend Lay and Daughter

Before having a fairytale love story with Keisha, Vango was dating his former partner Lay.

He dated Lay for some time and even had a daughter named Melia with her.

Despite having a together, Vango did not have a great relationship with his baby mama.

Lay used to get insecure about his friendship with Keisha, and even after parting ways, she made things hard for him.

She accused Vango of not providing her with 9000 USD for their daughter’s private school fees and extracurricular activities and only paying 260 USD per month for the necessities.

She even went on to criticize the rapper for neglecting their daughter for his career and his current partner, Keisha.

Things got ugly between the exes, but Keisha did not leave his side.

She stood by his side like always and supported him.

And because of this dedication and loyalty over the years, Vango decided to make her his wife.

Now, all of the fans of the powerful rapper couple are waiting for the wedding bells.

Education

While his parents kept education over everything else and even built a career in the same field, Vango never liked studying.

Instead, he loved how his friends used to rap. So, when he got expelled, he planned to enroll in an alternative school.

But, he later gave up on this idea to pursue a music career and dropped out of school.

Career

Vango started rapping when he was about to exit his teenage phase.

He loved listening to rap and wanted to make music, but he started it only during his late teens.

Before he was clear that he wanted a career as a rapper, Vango did various other jobs to make his living.

While still in school, he used to sell BB guns and make around 1000 USD per day.

Later, after getting expelled from school, he started working at Pizza Hut, where he almost got robbed while delivering the pizza.

He worked there for a while but left to earn more money.

He then started to scam people and hustle with iPhones.

He used to create posts online and work with his people to scam others.

At the same time, he used to buy iPhones at 100 USD per piece from people who bought iPhones with their credits but never paid their loans back.

While he was scamming and hustling, he and his friends working with him were once chased by undercover cops but managed to escape.

Though he never got charged for all the scams, as the police could not trace it back to him, he did get arrested for disorderly conduct.

Vango was earning a great deal of money from all this hustling. He used to make 4 to 5 thousand daily and live in hotels.

The rapper was making a great leaving but later left it all to pursue his musical career.

He started his career with his debut mixtape, Remember the Name, in 2013 and soon got into the limelight for his other mixtape JuggRich.

He then released his second mixtape JuggRich 2, which received even more appreciation than the first one.

People had already started noticing the rapper when he had released his mixtapes, and Longway Entertainment approached him.

He worked with Longway for some time before joining Hitcom labels.

Over the years, Vango has given some great music. “Safe With Us”, Heartbreak Hostel”, “Call Away”, “Fell in Love”, and “Real Love”. His works have made it to almost all platforms, and millions of people listen to them.

Besides releasing songs, the Cocaine Flow rapper also runs a clothing line with his partner.
