Sue Aikens, originally Susan Aikens, is one of the original cast members of Nat Geo’s hit survival Docu-series “Life Below Zero” who is expected to make her return for the show’s fourteenth season. Sue was born in a small village of Elk Grove and Wheeling Township named Mount Prospect One located in Cook County, Illinois on 1st July 1963. She is 61 years old.
Speaking about her family history, her grandparents were originally from Scotland thus, she spent most of her childhood traveling with her parents. Her mother left her father and shifted to a rural area of Alaska, 80 km north of Fairbanks when she was 12 years old.
She was eventually compelled to brave the Alaskan wilderness from an early age. She bravely swapped her toys with guns and bats to save herself in the wilderness after her mother abandoned her.
