The dual citizen was born to Buzz Goldstein and Dina Goldstein in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He was raised in Brooklyn until he was 4 and then he along with his parents shifted to Montreal, Quebec, which was his mother’s hometown. The Goldstein family stayed in the suburb of Laval.

Jonathan attended two universities to complete his educational degree. First, he joined McGill University, and later to complete his master’s degree in creative writing, he attended Concordia University and got graduated.

Career

After successfully acquiring his master’s degree, he stepped into the telemarketing industry where he contributed by working for almost ten years. He used to study and attend readings simultaneously at the same time.

He came into the industry in the year 2000. The first show he ever hosted was the CBC Summer radio program named ‘Road Dot Trip’. He also worked for other shows such as  ‘Dispatches’ in the same year. The year 2000 was kind of a blessing and booster for his career. Later on, after continuous hard work, Jonathan Managed to secure the position of a producer on the show from 2000 to 2002.

Till now, he has worked on and written many books and writings. Jonathan was the co-author of the Elvis Presley-based book ‘Elvis Presley’s Jewish Roots with Max Wallace’. Likewise, his works also have been featured and published in popular magazines and newspapers such as “New York Times Magazine”, “The New York Times”, ‘Saturday Night,’ and many more.

In the year 2002, Jonathan was the host of the show ‘WireTrap’ which lasted from 2004 to 2015. This program is considered one of the most loved programs done by him.
