Their album Quarterflash, which was released in September 1981, reached No. 8 on Billboard’s Top LPs & Tapes chart and sold over a million copies which earned them RIAA platinum status the next year.
The other songs of the band that were able to chart on the billboard are ‘Harden My Heart’, ‘Take Me to Heart’, and ‘Back Into Blue’.
The band also has appeared on soundtracks of two of 1982’s biggest films, Ron Howard’s Night Shift and Fast Times at Ridgemont High in 1982.
In 1990, the band reunited and hired a few session musicians too. It had Doug Fraser on guitar, Greg Williams on drums, Sandin Wilson on bass and vocal, and Mel Kubik on saxophone and keyboards.
